De hecho la palabra BASE es un acr\u00f3nimo ingl\u00e9s, es decir las iniciales de varias palabras. B Building (edificio), A de Antena, S de Span (ojo de puente) y E de Earth (tierra). <span class=\"Apple-Converted-space\"> <!-- span--> <!-- p--><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Cada palabra viene a ser de los diferentes puntos donde suelen tirarse los saltadores BASE. De hecho no es m\u00e1s que tirarse desde una cierta altura y abrir el paraca\u00eddas a la distancia justa antes no se impacte con el suelo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Son saltos muy breves en los que no se puede hacer ning\u00fan error, ya que s\u00f3lo hay una sola oportunidad para abrir el paraca\u00eddas. Se recomienda realizar previamente m\u00e1s de 100 saltos desde un avi\u00f3n, es decir hacer los saltos habituales de un paracaidista, ya que es la mejor manera de entrenarse. <\/ P><br \/>\n<P class = \"p1\"> Hay que tener presente que el cuerpo se acelera a medida que cae, as\u00ed al cabo de 3 segundos de ca\u00edda libre el cuerpo supera los 100 kil\u00f3metros por hora y habr\u00e1 bajado 45 metros. <\/ P><br \/>\n<P class = \"p1\"> Al cabo de 5 segundos caeremos a 180 kil\u00f3metros por hora y habremos recorrido 125 metros.
